A Glimpse at the Future?
A British company has invented and is now marketing the world's smallest solar powered car. This tiny (33x22x14 mm) vehicle can zoom around with the best of them, but is small enough to hold in the palm of your hand. It looks just like a car with wheels and a body, but the top is made from a single photovoltaic panel. Like a solar calculator, though, this vehicle can not only run on the sun's light, but can also be powered by any bright artificial indoor light. This could be a great eco-friendly kid toy, for big kids as well as tots.
