Keeping solar panels in good conditions maximizes the amount of energy they can produce

It is very, very important to keep your solar panels clean. Everything from dust, water spots, and even bird droppings can affect your solar panel's ability to collect sunlight.

Keeping this in mind, you should make a habit of routine maintenance for your panels.

The best way to do this is by using clean water and a soft cloth. It may require a little more scrubbing, for some of the more stubborn debris, but the water and cloth should take care of most of it.

How often the panels will need to be cleaned will vary by climate, winds, number of birds in the area, etc.
